We offer automatic near-real time data capture of displacement data I x, y and z directions. We can measure is a building, tunnel, or other structure is moving 0,5mm. Movement in structures can happen because of many different reasons. Getting data every 10 minutes 24/7 is a valuable knowledge and the data can be used for a multitude of different purposes from insurance claims, preventive maintenance, safety etc. With our IoT sensors we can “connect” your structure to the Internet and harvest the valuable near-real time data.

Constructing buildings or structures like tunnels, bridges or similar always require monitoring. Many various factors internal and external can cause structural displacement or movement. Using IoT sensors SynapIoT can perform displacement monitoring in 3 directions within 0,5 mm accuracy.

Foundation excavation next to a building always poses a threat that the neighboring buildings foundation is weakened could result in a building or foundation displacement. By installing IoT sensors before the excavation begins, data can be collected and monitored so that the building process can be documented real time.



Monitoring displacements in tunnels is vital to ensure that the structure is static and can withstand the forces from the surrounding forces pushing on the structure. Deformations or settlements in the structure, during the construction process, is a significant safety hazard. But not only to the tunnel construction itself, but also the surrounding buildings above ground level.


Realtime 24/7 monitoring of tunnels gives you an insight that have not before been available unless using very expensive equipment.



We monitor temporary and permanent bridges before and after construction projects. We can monitor displacement or settlement movements in the construction and use the data for documentation after worth. Our data can also be exported to other documentation systems used by construction companies.


In our opinion, IoT-Equipment-as-a-Service (IoT-EaaS) is the next step towards a simpler and more advanced usage model. You "rent" our products and services, thus protecting your balance sheet and only burdening your income statement in the correct period.

Secure NarrowBand IoT Transmission 

NB-IoT is particularly ideal for many sensors and IoT applications that exchange data only rarely or only sparingly. For these and the following reasons, we at SynapIoT have decided to take advantage of this technology and incorporate it into all of our products.


For most public and private IoT applications, the “narrow” or low bandwidth of Narrow Band IoT is more than sufficient. NB-IoT is also a perfect solution for IoT due to its optimal security of supply and nationwide presence - a much better solution than WLAN or LAN, since these networks are comparatively unstable and sometimes also insecure. The NB-IoT technology uses the secure 3GPP industry standard, it is an internationally recognized, standardized and reliable technology and architecture. 3GPP offers a multi-vendor connectivity, compatibility and secure international coverage.

In addition to the NB-IoT transmission unit, we have also equipped our products with GPRS, 3G and 4G transmission units to ensure that reception is possible everywhere. Furthermore we run automatic firmware updates over-the air.
