Synap IoT: Connecting Things
With IoT everything can connected, everything that can be networked sensibly and economically. The foundation for this development: an adequate network.
For most IoT applications in the public and consumer sector, the low bandwidth of NB-IoT is more than sufficient. NB-IoT is also a perfect solution due to its optimal coverage reliability and is a much better solution for IoT than W-LAN or LAN, as these networks are comparably unstable and in some cases also unsecure.
In addition to the NB IoT transmission unit in our solutions, we have added a GPRS, 3G and 4G transmission unit to the multitude of sensors in our hardware. In the standard configuration, a NB-IoT connection is tried first, then GPRS, 3G and 4G. Optionally a LAN and W-LAN connection is also possible. In this way a stable redundant connection with our sensors is guaranteed.

NB-IoT perfect for Synap IoT
Narrowband IoT for the Internet of Things is now a globally accepted standard, with IoT solutions working everywhere - even in deep basements. There is little to do with conventional mobile telephony in the IoT sector. The energy consumption of mobile phone technology is far too high and the network would quickly be overloaded under the load of the expected tens of thousands of IoT sensors.
The existing transmission masts can administer a hundred times more NB-IoT connections than GSM connections.
